Autodesk is looking for a dynamic sales executive with natural sales instincts coupled with commercial and technical skills to grow our North America Design & Manufacturing Data Platform team. Reporting to the Americas Data Platform Sales Leader you will help create demand and develop new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business opportunities and improve sales campaigns across our North American sales organization. This is an enterprise sales role and requires someone who demonstrate success in leading a team of sales resources on large-scale sales engagements.
Engage target accounts and respective account teams with enterprise sales methodologies
Conduct discovery activities and value assessments for Autodesk prospects and customers
Create compelling executive level presentations expressing a clear understanding of opportunities for business improvement
Collect and measure important industry metrics to establish trends and benchmarking
Assistance in development of demonstration and presentation storyboards
Participation in customer/prospect facing events supporting presentations and demonstrations
Assistance in demand generation activities such as webinars, seminars, and roadshows
Partner collaboratively with channel reseller partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to increase new revenue, lead the co-selling process to Autodesk customers, and expand partner relationships
Reach out and provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry and strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvement
Develop a 5 quarter rolling pipeline to exceed assigned pipeline volume target
Deliver an accurate ongoing forecast of business
Negotiate deals and contracts at multiple levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on "C" and enterprise-level negotiations
5-7+ years enterprise sales experience
Manage multiple opportunities and projects
Experience leading clients in discovery discussions and workshops to uncover business problems, corporate initiatives and desired outcomes
Develop and present executive- level business to C-level audiences
Background and understanding of how enterprise software solutions address customer goals
Knowledge of cloud-enabled technologies, SaaS, AWS
Experience with manufacturing product development process
Knowledge of PLM solutions and PLM competitive landscape
Great storyteller and effortlessly adapt your communication style depending on the audience
Experience manufacturing product development process landscape
Must understand how information, content, and documents flow across a manufacturing organization in the context of a business process
