Reporting to the CEO, our Senior VP of Sales will be responsible for scaling and enhancing the sales team, structure, processes, and measurements to help drive rapid sales growth. You will develop strategic initiatives for targeted markets and help drive the Company’s direction to achieve long-term success as DearDoc continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who has a demonstrated track record of success leading, building, and scaling an outbound sales team.
Location: Remote / New York (Hybrid) Preferred
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales strategy and execution
  • Develop and execute strategies and processes to achieve sales targets and company revenue goals
  • Take ownership of sales reporting, forecasting, and KPI reporting for the entire sales team
  • Be accountable for key sales metrics and actual performance, defining and measuring the sales process to develop benchmarks for growth
  • Recognize and celebrate wins; foster a high-performance environment with a focus on recognition
  • Assess and define optimal sales organization structure and processes
  • Provide leadership through innovation, finding new ways to leverage our outbound sales force
  • Coach, mentor, and instill leadership and management best practices as well as empower sales managers to identify and cultivate future leaders within the sales team
  • Evaluate existing sales compensation structure and define proposed changes to improve company and individual performance; establish a strong performance management culture
  • Participate in the development of strategy and operating plans for the business
  • Serve as an active member of the leadership team, and build strong, collaborative relationships throughout the organization
  • Meaningfully contributing to team meetings, training, policies, strategy, and culture

Skills & Background

  • 7-10+ years of outstanding results in leading outbound sales organizations delivering SaaS solutions for small to mid-sized, growing companies
  • 5+ years in B2B sales leadership (Ideally as a VP Sales, SVP sales)
  • Results-driven coach, mentor, and role model who manages and develops best-in-class talent and drives group results through teamwork and individual performance improvement
  • Collaborative team player and a strong desire to achieve results while respecting the company’s core values framework
  • Strong business acumen with analytical ability to assess the business and drive the organization forward
  • Able to create and foster a highly energized sales and metrics-driven culture that enables and expects high performance
  • Excellent communication skills and networking abilities with internal/external contacts
  • Able to lead tactically as well as strategically
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attentive, considerate, inquisitive, and empathetic to others
  • Exceptional time management skills
