Job Purpose:
As our next Senior Key Account Manager, you will join our Industrial Solutions Sales' team and you will be responsible for the Power Gen OE Large Turbines customer portfolio.
You will lead technical and commercial evaluation of the sales opportunities: bid-no bid (SG0) and you will be required to coordinate and lead customer communication during entire sales cycle of business opportunities (budget creation, binding offer, technical and commercial alignment, negotiation).
Along with identifying market needs and collaborating with leadership and product development to bring high value products to market, your day-to-day will also include the following:
Lead the internal process to get the Project / Offer Approval (SG1) interfacing with all departments involved (Proposal, Project Management, Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Operations).
Report to the manager the Customer Relationship and Sales Opportunities through dedicate CRM tool (GQL).
Capture and share Voice of Customer with all departments involved improving customer experience and increase customer loyalty.
Facilitate customer interaction during project execution.
Deepen customer relationships through strategic partnership / initiatives.
Define & implement growth strategy for our Large Turbine OE Key Accounts as well as strategically position Donaldson within C-Level customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Profitability: Develop Sales strategy to meet & exceed targets working closely Power Gen departments (Product, Engineering, Operations, etc.).
Work towards Business Plan: Plan, develop and control objectives according to Sales Strategy and business plan.
Technical or Commercial Customer Support: Provide and co-ordinate any commercial or technical support required by customers, and colleagues to ensure effective customer services and develop customer accounts.
Policies and Procedures: Respect Donaldson and customer policies (business conduct, ethical, etc.).
Plan and Control New Products: Collaborate with Product Engineering as well as customer engineering for product development and new differentiated our product offering creating value for customers.
Product Market Introduction: Review and recommend action for product /market introductions for product performance, market coverage and position.
Product Costing: Collaborate with operations checking cost evolution as well as cost out opportunity to support customer and secure key deals.
Compliancy - Processes and procedures: HR, Quality, HSE, Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labor law.
Profile:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
5-10 years progressive work experience in a commercial environment, including proven track record in leading sales teams and product management.
Demonstrated leadership skills – highly effective at leading by influence.
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels of Donaldson and customer organizations.
Proven track record of revenue and profit growth.
Fluent in English; other language a true plus.
