The Aftermarket Sales Associate role is a great entry-level opportunity into the sales organization at Donaldson. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their sales career, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable prospecting and working with customers directly. Candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Proactively research customer accounts to identify key decision-makers and define aftermarket potential for industrial air filter filters, service opportunities and replacement parts.

  • Partner with sales reps to grow sales and manage assigned accounts within specific territories.

  • Acquire knowledge of industrial air filtration technology, applications, and operation of equipment necessary to assist customers and obtain filter orders.

  • Maintain customer database, record phone calls and sales activities via Microsoft CRM.

  • Travel locally with senior employees to visit customer sites to gain valuable field experience and gain an understanding of dust collection.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma

  • 1+ year of professional experience working with customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written

  • Ability to build rapport and relationships

  • Previous telephonic sales or customer service experience desired

  • Desire to sell direct into the industrial air filtration market
