Job Purpose

This job exists to support and expand the aftermarket and service business of Industrial Air Filtration products and systems primarily in Japan but always in the scope of APAC/Global. It starts with the recognition of sales targets and goes on to internalizing them to output in the form of various sales activities such as but not limited to making a sales operation plan, executing activities according to the plan, reviewing and reflecting the sales activities regularly, reporting to and consulting the management, and inputting or giving feedbacks to the sales strategy planning.

The voice of customers collected from field is essential in creating new product and service strategies to meet the customers’ needs and expand the IAF business as a whole (new IAF product and service inventions). Upraising the customers satisfaction in aftermarket business will in return increase the new opportunities for the equipment business.

Key Accountabilities

  • New customer development and sales expansion of existing customer – to be measured in CRM
    新規顧客の開拓と既存顧客向け拡販(CRMにて計測)

  • Understanding the customer requirement and make proposals of our solutions – including the record keeping of critical information and being aligned to the company’s compliance policies
    客先要求品質の確認~当社提案仕様の提示(その記録を社内規定に準じて管理を含む)

  • Information gathering of market and competitors – including the record keeping of such information to be shared among the team members.

  • Document creation and management according to ISO9001 standard (i.e. quotation, meeting minutes, reports)
    ISO9001規格に準じた文書作成と管理 (見積書作成、打合せ議事など各種報告書)

  • Trouble shooting at a customer’s site – to go even if out of own territory, and go in preparation as much as possible.

  • Coordination among customer, supplier, and internal organization

Key Qualifications & Requirements

Education Qualification:

  • Undergraduate degree from University 大学学士卒以上

  • Technical college graduate 高等専門学校卒

Technical Competence & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience (field not specified) 社会人経験3年以上(専門は問わない)

  • Presentation and proposal making skills 顧客へのプレゼン、提案能力

  • Customer outbound call skills 顧客への電話営業能力

  • Microsoft Office skills マイクロソフトオフィスを使いこなせること

  • Analytical skills 分析能力

  • Problem Solving skills 問題解決能力

Leadership Competence:

Relevant Experience:

  • New sales development 新規開拓営業(業種問わない)

  • New customer development 新規顧客の発掘(業種問わない)

  • CRM (Customer Relations Management) experience CRMツールの使用経験

Others (% of travel, language, etc.):

  • 30-50% travel including weekends

  • English proficiency required and business level ability desired

  • Driver’s license and skill of driving (required when travelling to customers)
