Summary of Position Purpose:

  • This is Sales Business development role, to grow and develop existing customer relationships and to identify, develop and deliver NEW name business sales, drive revenue growth within existing appointed customer base.
  • To manage nominated International OEM and Distribution customers and prospects.
  • To be the key point of contact for clients in region, providing both pre and after-sales support and advice with the support of the customer care team.
  • Liaise regularly with other members of the BOFA team to add value to the overall business performance.
  • To develop excellent customer experience through effective management and implementation of customer process and tools.
  • To represent the BOFA brand in a professional and productive way.
  • This is a home-based role with some international travel and occasional overnight business stays will be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Own budget responsibilities and actions

  • Sales development of new and existing clients in the appointed region
  • Provide commercial support and advice to new and existing clients.
  • Manage leads and offers for clients including specification, technical and pricing.
  • Identify and engage with new clients.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a regional sales plan.
  • Maximize existing client potential in designated regions and industry sectors.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients, managing/interpreting their needs.
  • Work with clients to produce accurate forecast and key project data.
  • Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
  • Prepare reports and keep accurate up to date customer records via the CRM.
  • Meet regular sales and performance targets.
  • Support marketing activities, trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events

RoW International sales team support

  • To support the wider sales team and customer service representatives as required
  • Demonstrate good sales practice and monitor own your performance.
  • Support customer relationships and manage conflict to ensure a positive outcome.
  • To ensure their actions are aligned with achieving their annual sales plan.
  • To manage the incoming sales enquiries and opportunities

Person Specification:

Knowledge

Essential:

  • Good commercial background
  • Strong sales disciplines and working practice.
  • Sales process and client management

Desirable:

  • OEM client partnership
  • Channel distribution sales
  • Small industrial product sales

Experience

Essential:

  • Ability to work remotely and virtually within a sale environment.
  • Good commercial background
  • Evidence of successful client acquisition
  • Sales development from initial lead
  • Remote client contact skills as opposed to face to face
  • Building and managing an opportunity pipeline
  • Working to clearly defined targets and KPI’s

Desirable:

  • Experience of manufacturing sales
  • Small industrial product sales
  • Building a customer base through own initiative
  • Telephone or digital contact experience
  • Working within a CRM environment
  • Investigating markets and industries for leads
