We are looking for a highly motivated MSP Partner Sales Manager for the Americas East market. This role will formally be part of the Global Service Provider team but will align extremely closely with our Americas organization and specifically our East and Commercial teams. You will be responsible for creating an MSP strategy for this market including identifying net new strategic recruitment targets as well as supporting our strategic MSPs.

We are only considering candidates based in the eastern time zone for this role.

You will:

  • Have a strong background, experience and an existing network with strategic MSPs in the Americas East market
  • You will understand the latest trends, services, financial models and news impacting the MSP market
  • You will create a strong MSP strategy for the top MSPs you want to recruit, activate, as well as Elastic’s existing strategic MSPs
  • Along with our Solutions Architects, you will lead the enablement strategy for each of your strategic MSPs including operations and support, sales and technology
  • Take joint Elastic-partner sales plays, offerings and industry assets/solutions to specific markets for local execution and engagement with our Elastic field sales teams
  • Joint solution development & execution - Commercialize industry solutions or product extensions to leverage partner IP and vertical expertise with Elastic teams
  • Create and drive a cloud partner strategy to promote Elastic's own cloud services as well as the services of our MSP partners
  • Lead and drive our approach on partner programs, partner enablement, metrics, team enablement, strategy, and planning to the MSPs you cover
  • Work closely with the regional sales AVPs & RVPs and cross-functional groups to align on territory-based partner strategy, resources, and execution
  • You will develop partnerships with senior leadership and stakeholder management Internally and externally

Requirements

  • Ability to range from executive relationship building, contract negotiations, internal team building, channel program design, detailed metrics and analysis, and partner enablement
  • A strong network of strategic MSPs
  • You will understand the latest trends, services, financial models and news impacting the MSP market
  • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time, including international travel
  • Understanding of analytics, search, big data markets / products, security, and observability or ability to learn quickly
  • Key leadership skills to ensure that we are helping our Elastic field understand the benefits of partnering with MSPs but also drive executive partnerships with key strategic MSPs

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE). On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable).

The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$129,000$204,000 USD
The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is:
$55,200$87,400 USD
The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is:
$184,200$291,400 USD
