Automation Sales Specialist, APJ

PagerDuty is seeking an Automation Specialist to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As Automation Specialist you will be working closely with the automation sales leadership team to drive automation sales and to generate net new business and ensure our most strategic accounts in APJ are successful. The ideal candidate will bring meaningful software industry experience in any of the following: multi-product modern SaaS platforms, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, automation, and analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to drive automation sales, a key part of our growth strategy across APJ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a cross-functional account team in the development and execution of detailed account plans/strategies to grow existing relationships AND secure new logo customers (e.g., Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Business Value, ISRs, BDRs, and partner teams).
- Build high value networks through networking at the executive level and advancing deals through conducting strong discovery calls, demos, and business value meetings.
- Generate revenue by selling, managing, and developing existing client relationships.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years Enterprise sales experience
- Familiarity with API/Automation Technology
- Ability to run account plans & manage large geographical territory.
- Experience selling to IT Operations and Engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with MEDDICC and consultative sales methodologies.
- Experience selling to Fortune 500 enterprise companies.
- Strong technical understanding, knowledge of engineering culture, and the ability to relate to the customer.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Positive can-do attitude, with the capacity to meet and exceed quota.
- BS degree or higher preferred
