\nThe Udemy Business Sales Proposal Manager supports our pre- and post-sales RFP/I response efforts in collaboration with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams. This is a foundational role in expanding our business across a diverse customer base. The Sales Proposal Manager guides the proposal response process and delivers business proposals with timeliness, accuracy, quality, and specification requirements that are aligned to Udemy's services and unique value proposition. You will be responsible for ensuring well-crafted proposal submissions that drive our growth with existing and new customers. And, you’re ready for a challenge and aren’t afraid to try new ideas.
\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n- \n
- Manage the full life cycle of the proposal response process, from initial assessment of RFP/RFI requirements to final submission of tailored responses with input and guidance from cross-functional teams. \n
- Review RFPs/RFIs and other solicitation documents to identify key proposal requirements and prepare responses. Coordinate the proposal response process, deliverables, and response timeliness for all RFPs/Is received from customers and prospects. \n
- Orchestrate needed responses, and delegate tasks, from multiple internal teams; such as customer success, content, product, and engineering. \n
- Support scalable methodologies and tools (e.g., Loopio) to streamline information flow and re-usability. \n
What you’ll have
\n- \n
- Minimum of 5-10 years proven experience managing, writing, and coordinating Proposal responses of moderate to high complexity (bonus for experience with SaaS/HR/Learning industry). \n
- Relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment, with diverse and global functional teams, using the latest RFP software tools (e.g., Loopio and others). \n
- Customer-focused, nimble, creative and superb organizational skills. \n
- Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted Proposal responses. \n
- Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills \n
- Ability to manage projects of varying size, scope, and complexity and prioritizing appropriately. \n

About this role
